About 18 months ago, I purchased my first recumbent trike, an ICE Sprint from somebody called Kevin Dunseath of DTEK in Little Threatford, Cambridgeshire.
At the time you could argue that I had some pretty grand and, unachievable goals.
Especially when all I was riding is 6 miles round Canon Hill Park in Birmingham, with the occasional ride of 11 miles round Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield.
Now I’m regularly riding distances of 30 – 50 miles.
In August, as I’ve already eluded to Ian, my brother-in-law and I successfully cycled 140 miles, cycling from Coast to Coast.
Just last week Ian and I successfully cycled 123.3 miles from Home to Aberystwyth.
Fairly recently Ian and I cycled 78.2 miles (see the attached Strava report), we had planned to cycle 85+ miles but daylight hours let us down.
I personally can’t wait to get back to competitive cycling…
“I’ll never be able to walk unaided but, I sure can cycle”.
