I’ve been harping on about cycling from Lands-end to John ‘O’ Groats for quite some time now, in fact I’ve wanted to do it since being 15 years old.

I’m now 47, what does that tell you?

However, my brother-in-law Ian Richard Sanders & I, although their will be be others along the way namely, my step son George Robert Cox and, my cycling buddy Stef Brown, made the tactical decision to do it the other way round and cycle the JOGLE, 937 miles from John ‘O’ Groats to Lands-end.

As part of me accepting the fact that this is me and, as much as I dislike being disabled, it’s something that I’ll have to live with every single day for the rest of my life.

Given the enormity of this challenge, I’ve decided to fund raise for (Disability Sport Worcestershire).

My reasoning behind this was, not everybody who’s disabled could take on such a mammoth undertaking as cycling the JOGLE.

Therefore, this is my way of recognising this, by doing something that even though I am disabled, this will hopefully positively benefit those who are perhaps less fortunate than me.

I wanted to let you all know that I’m fundraising for Disability Sport Worcestershire, and they’d really appreciate your support.

You can donate to their JustGiving page by clicking here:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Disability Sport Worcestershire, so it’s the most efficient way to give – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I’m very aware that this will probably seem like, hear we go again, yet another email begging for money but, please remember that this really is an epic challenge, cycling from top to bottom, North to South or, from John ‘O’ Groats to Lands-end.

Please Please Please, PRETTY PLEASE give generously to a very deserving cause.
